The Maker’s Market was created to encourage creativity and provide financial support to local makers, creators, growers, entertainers, and locally owned food trucks and tents.
To maintain the integrity of the market, vendors selling mass-produced items or products associated with multi-level marketing (MLM) companies are not permitted.

All Maker’s Market events take place at Broadway Square, located at 300 16th Street, Ashland, KY 41101.
Event hours are 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Vendor set-up begins two hours prior to the start of the event.

 Market Hours: Saturdays from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
(Vendor set-up begins 2 hours before the event)

                                                                                       Vendor Requirements
  • Must comply with all State Health Department guidelines
  • Must have a City of Ashland business license or temporary vendor permit
 • Food vendors must receive approval from the Boyd County Health Department
                                                                                         Vendor Fees
  • $10 temporary vendor license fee paid to the City of Ashland


Visit Ashland welcomes vendors and organizations to participate in our events. However, to maintain a non partisan environment and promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees, we do not allow political organizations, groups, or candidates to setup or distribute materials at Makers Markets. Please Note: Selecting the Food or Beverage Vendor option does not guarantee acceptance into the Makers Market.

To provide the best experience for attendees and to support all participating vendors, Visit AKY reserves the right to limit the number and types of food and beverage vendors at each event. Food and beverage vendors are selected at the sole discretion of Visit AKY based on factors such as menu variety, event needs, and available space.

If your application is not selected for a particular market, you may be considered for future events.
