2023 SNAPSHOT RECAP

As we look through all of our photos, we reflect on the memorable year we had in Ashland, KY, in 2023, it's safe to say that Ashland was the place to be for endless fun and unforgettable memories. And we are already planning for more in 2024!

In 2023, our organizations, citizens, businesses, and venues hosted more than 1,350 events and activities that brought us all together to celebrate our unique spirit and heritage. From the live shows at the iconic Paramount Arts Center to the grand opening of the much-anticipated Clark Family Discovery Center in the Highlands Museum, and as we hosted the Appalachian Regional Commission Annual Conferece we remember each moment. These milestones are not just events; they are testament to the strength of our community and our dedication to making Ashland an extraordinary place to live and visit.

But the real magic of Ashland is the joy of spending time with friends and loved ones. Whether it was enjoying a sunset picnic at Riverfront Park, sharing a meal at one of our locally owned restaurants, or simply spending time with one another, we cherish the moments with those who make Ashland feel like home. We're eagerly looking forward to 2024, where we'll continue to build on all the fun and excitement. The Paramount Arts Center will continue to be our anchor of entertainment, the Clark Family Discovery Center will inspire children and families from all around, and First Fridays, Makers Markets, and annual festivals will keep our downtown vibrant and alive.

As we begin to plan 2024, we are embracing the significant change coming to our Downtown. This transformation will enhance the walkability and beauty of Winchester Avenue resulting in an actual “main street”, with a welcoming atmosphere that will perfectly complement our upcoming events. We can't wait to see how this project will shape the landscape of our beloved city and take our events to new heights. We hope to see you Downtown for even more in 2024!
